About Blumenfeld and Associates
Michael Blumenfeld founded Blumenfeld & Associates in 1987. Previously, he served as a legislative aide for two state representatives, staff for the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules, and was the legislative liaison for the Hospital Rate Setting Commission.
He was also twice elected to serve on the Madison Common Council. Mr. Blumenfeld received his M.A. in Political Science from Boston University and his B.A. in Political Science & History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the Association of Wisconsin Lobbyists.
Mr. Blumenfeld has been appointed to numerous boards and committees, including the Supreme Court of Wisconsin Appointment Selection Committee, Dane County Commission on Sensitive Crimes and the City of Madison Plan Commission.
Erin Fabrizius joined Blumenfeld & Associates as a public affairs associate in 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism with distinction.
Before joining Blumenfeld and Associates, Ms. Fabrizius served as the campaign coordinator for the Madison Area Technical College referendum, which won the overwhelming approval of area voters. She has also interned for a former U.S. Senator. She volunteers her time with the Wisconsin Women's Network and is a freelance writer.
Ben Belzer joined Blumenfeld & Associates as an administrative assistant in 2017. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received a B.A. in Political Science and certificate in Business-Entrepreneurship.
As an undergrad Mr. Belzer mainly focused on Governmental Relations with an emphasis on International Trade. He also interned with a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and a U.S. Representative during his time as a student.
